Bahamas Trade Mission to Washington, DC

The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers Confederation (BCCEC) in partnership with the Bahamas Government through the Bahamas Embassy in Washington, DC organized a Trade Mission to Washington, DC, 5-7 March 2018.
The delegation was led by Edison Sumner, CEO of the BCCEC and Senator the Hon. Kwasi Thompson, Minister of State for Grand Bahama. The delegation also included the Ambassador of The Bahamas to the U.S., H.E. Sidney Collie; Consul General in Washington, DC, Mr. Theo Neiily; Charo R. Walker-Morley, Trade Services Manager, BCCEC; other BCCEC officials, private sector representatives, and government officials.
Meetings were held with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Department of Commerce, DC Chamber of Commerce, Inter-American Development Bank and Baltimore Chamber of Commerce. Business matchmaking sessions were also carried out.
